On June 23/24 RIA experts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland will have the chance to attend RIAWorld Conference, a two-day conference on Rich Internet Applications, which will be held at ICM Munich. A selected group of RIA experts will present the world of RIAs, covering technologies (Adobe Flex, Microsoft Silverlight, Ajax, JavaFX, OpenLaszlo and others), concepts and real-life project experience. RIAWorld will be embedded into Internet World 2009.
Internet World has been the premium branch event for internet professionals in Germany and a forum for decision-makers. It is the only event in Germany that covers the entire internet value-added chain in its entirety. While there has been a number of large RIA conferences in the US in the last 3-4 years, Germany has not seen many events covering RIAs on a broader range. It’s good to see that RIA conferences covering a wide range of the leading technologies – and not only specific technologies – are held in Germany.
You are welcome to join my presentation on Rich Internet Applications and runtimes at RIAWorld covering the broad range of runtime engines like JavaScript engines, browser plug-ins like the Flash Player, Silverlight, JavaFX, Adobe AIR, GoogleGears, Mozilla Prism as well mobile and embedded runtimes and their impact on RIAs. As a member of the program committee for RIAWorld I’m looking forward to meeting the various RIA experts in Munich, expecting vivid discussions, open to learn more about market.
